GLA have supported City & Islington College over the past 14 years as they have developed their 4 sites in north London.

This has covered a wide variety of projects from Masterplanning to the design of new facilities including cafe, offices, studios and a workplace hub: ‘World of Work’ at the Centre for Business, Arts and Technology (CBAT) and new entrance, cafe and spa at the Centre for Health, Social and Child Care (HSCC)

At the College’s Angel campus, a group of three new CLT framed pavilions has been completed to provide facilities for Engineering, Forensics and Sports Science courses. Clad in cementitious board, two of these buildings have grass roofs whilst the third has a new astroturf sports pitch on the roof.
