Brampton Manor School

Extension and remodelling of a large secondary school in Newham carried out as part of Skanska’s design team of three architects developing three schemes to Planning Stage for the DfE’s Building Schools for the Future programme.

The scheme provided new Performing Arts facilities celebrating the school’s specialism,

including a new theatre and television production and music recording,  Design and Technology rooms enhanced Learning Support facilities and landscaping.

The new facilities are grouped around a new landscaped entrance courtyard which allows the school to be more visible and easily accessible for wider community use.

Vehicle circulation and servicing are rationalised and carefully separated to allow the new landscape to link to the existing sports hall without interruption.
